HSP East Valley Charity

Each year HSP East Valley chooses a charity to raise funds for and to donate a portion of our membership dues. For the 2016-2017 membership year, the board chose from a variety of charities and voted that Bridging AZ was an admirable charity to assist.

Proceeds totaled $500.00 from both raffles and HSP matched that amount to give a total donation of $1,000.00 to Bridging AZ for 2016. It is our honor to help a project of this importance within our community. We wish the best to the Bridging AZ and continued success as they work to care for those families who are struggling to afford the help they need. If you or someone you know would like to donate directly to Bridging AZ, we encourage you to do so.

Please join HSP East Valley in making a difference in the elderly and disabled community in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. We will continue to collect donations through the 2016-2017 membership year. Members and guests can donate personally, through the company they work for, or by donating items to be raffled at events (proceeds from raffles to be donated from HSP East Valley to Bridging AZ).

Please see below for additional options on continuing donations throughout the year.

If making personal donations or company donations via check, you may make the check out to HSP East Valley, HSP East Valley will collect and give you a donation receipt (non-tax deductible) at any HSP East Valley meeting or social during the 2016-2017 membership year.

If you or someone you know would like to donate directly (tax-deductible) to the Bridging AZ, without going through HSP East Valley, see table below.

The response was so overwhelming Bridging AZ incorporated as a nonprofit in 2004, in the past 11 years Bridging has distributed over 250,000 items to families in need.

Bridging AZ does not give away FREE furniture, what we do is partner with social service agencies who identify and qualify families in need – Then the families get a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase items they need for a nominal fee.
